William Fuentes Hernández has been a Consultant at Tinoco, Travieso, Planchart & Núñez since 2024. He is a specialist in Labor Law, with extensive experience advising companies on all legal aspects related to human resource management. His practice includes collective bargaining, contract drafting and review, compliance with labor and parafiscal obligations, handling disputes before administrative and judicial authorities, as well as implementing labor policies and contingency prevention strategies.
He has held positions at the Attorney General’s Office (Procuraduría General de la República, 1985–1989), practiced at law firms such as Álvarez, Rodríguez & Asociados and Calcaño-Betancourt (1989–2001), and served as Director of the Labor Department at Romero-Muci & Asociados, a member firm of Andersen Legal and later Deloitte & Touche (2001–2005). From 2005 to 2015, he was Director of Labor and Social Security Affairs at Lex & Tax Consulting, and from 2015 to 2021, he led the labor, social security, and occupational law practice at Deloitte S-LATAM (Gómez, Rutmann & Asociados). Between 2021 and 2024, he practiced independently before joining the firm.
