Professional Background: Member of the Bar Association of the Capital District. Director of the Labor Department at the Law Firm of Romero-Muci & Asociados, member firm of Andersen Legal and later of Deloitte & Touche, 2001-2005. Associate Attorney in charge of the Consulting and Labor Litigation divisions at the law firms of Álvarez, Rodríguez & Asociados, and Calcaño-Betancourt, 1989-2001. Judge-Rapporteur at the First Court in Contentious-Administrative Matters, 1988-1990. Attorney and Legal Assistant at the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, 1985-1989. Postgraduate Professor in the Specialization of Labor Law at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in the subjects of “General Theory of Social Security”, “Jurisprudential Analysis”, “Labor Regimes”, and “Labor Health and Safety Regime”, 2001-2019.
